League Tag – the Gilgandra Pink Panthers win the Castlereagh league tag knockout when they defeated Coonamble 24 to nil in the final after progressing through the day undefeated. Scorers in the final included Shian Chatfield, Allira Riley and Shay Naden

Rugby League – Gilgandra’s first grade squad also go though the Castlereagh League knockout undefeated and down Coonamble 24 to 12 in the final with the scorers being Ashley Hazelton and Luke Ritchie.

Castlereagh rep teams - Gilgandra players selected in the Castlereagh representative sides were Shay Naden and Shian Chatfield (league tag) and Brandon Hammond, Kieren Hazelton, Luke Ritchie, Ashley Hazelton, Jamie Towney and Ray Buchanan (rugby league).

John Farragher – one of Gilgandra’s favourite sons, John “Pug” Farragher” is awarded the OAM.
