Report shows impact of cost-shifting on councils
Over the past decade, councils across NSW have absorbed a staggering $11.3 billion forced upon them by state and federal governments in the process known as “cost-shifting”, according to a new report commissioned by peak body Local Government NSW (LGNSW).
