Gilgandra's Community Bank held a special event last week to help welcome new residents to town.

Held at the Gilgandra Services Club on Wednesday, February 25, a number of new residents were greeted by a host of local service groups, sports, activities, and other volunteer/community organisations.

With the influx of new people moving to town during January/February the aim of the night was to provide those residents with some friendly faces to show them what their interests could get them involved with in Gilgandra. The Community Bank also partnered with the Lions Club to provide a free barbecue dinner.
