Another brilliant weekend for junior Panthers
It was another fantastic weekend of junior rugby league and netball for the Gilgandra Panthers.

It was another fantastic weekend for the Gilgandra Panthers, with our junior netballers travelling to Dubbo while junior rugby league took centre stage at McGrane Oval, Gilgandra.
The Panthers netballers continued to show plenty of determination across all grades, with some impressive performances on the court.
The under 11s celebrated a great effort from Madeleine Foran, who was awarded Players Player.
The under 12s faced a tough contest, going down 49–10, the girls showed fantastic teamwork, and never gave up until the final whistle.
The team finished the day on a high note, celebrating coach Chloe’s birthday with a special cupcake treat made by Sandra. Happy Birthday Chloe!
The under 16s division two side continued their strong form, securing an impressive 55–15 win over Trangie. The girls continue to build confidence and show the hard work they are putting in each week.
Back home at McGrane Oval, the junior league Panthers delivered another exciting day of footy, with plenty of highlights across the grades.
The Gil Panthers under 10s had an outstanding game, with every player turning up ready to take the field and contribute to a fantastic team performance. Their commitment and teamwork were rewarded with a well-earned win, with Eddie Woodrow named Player of the Day for his efforts.
The under 16s produced a dominant home performance against Gulgong, securing a convincing 44–nil victory. From the opening whistle, the Panthers controlled the game with strong defence, great teamwork and clinical attacking plays.
Their ability to maintain pressure throughout the match resulted in a well-deserved clean sheet and another impressive performance.
Player of the Match was awarded to Clayton Wheatley for his outstanding contribution.
This weekend will see the Junior League players back on the road to Coolah and netball down in Dubbo.
